There is nothing really confusing or complicated about my style of NLP training. It comes down to a simple truth: A personal trainer always gives you more value and a higher return on your investment than a group class.
I learned this the hard way.
Years ago, when I delivered traditional NLP seminars and corporate training programs, the actual teaching often took a backseat to the headaches. I spent my time hunting for locations, hiring administrative staff, and putting out fire after fire. (Honestly, I might have preferred literal fires; at least those are straightforward to extinguish.)
Instead of focusing purely on the students’ growth, I was negotiating truces between participants who were at each other’s throats or trying to spot the vulnerable individual who might be pushed over the edge by a well meaning but inexperienced student who uses the wrong embedded commands.
I do not envy the seminar trainers of today. Adding smartphones, social media, and shortening attention spans to that chaotic mix does not appeal to me. I am glad I no longer belong to that world.
I prefer to focus on the work itself.
Here are the questions we often receive by email regarding how this private training works. Of course, if you don’t see your specific question on this list, just ask.
The main points about training / mentoring
How long does the training take?
How soon can I start making a living from this?
Who is this training actually for?
The difference between Competence and a Certificate
Why is this 1-on-1? Why no groups?
You won’t be in ’training mode’ forever. The goal is to stop being a student and start being a practitioner. But first, we need to dismantle a common delusion in the NLP world and put your feet back on solid ground.
You cannot build a respectful practice on paper credentials. Whether you are, or want to become, a therapist or a coach, the only thing that sustains this unique business is producing real results. Nothing else gets you referrals. You cannot paper over incompetence with marketing, and you certainly cannot hide behind a certificate to compensate for a lack of experience.
Let’s build your competence and your credentials side-by-side.
If my approach fits your personality, let’s simply begin with a single training session, so you can feel the difference.
